About Us
How We Get Involved
GFWC Coco Plum Woman's Club is registered 501(c)(3) organization. We are a community service organization and social club. Our regular business meetings are held on the second Wednesday from September through May, although we also have fundraisers during the summertime. Book reviews, card games and tea parties are our main fundraisers.
We contribute to many organizations in Dade County. Other organizations such as, Biscayne Nature Center, Boys and Girls Club of Miami, South Florida Urban Mission, Camillus House, Children's Home Society, Chapman Partnership, Cops for Kids, Coral Gables Crime Watch, Feeding South Florida, Habitat for Humanity, Miami Rescue Mission, New World School of the Arts, Patches in Homestead, Perdue Nursing Home and V.A. Hospital, Safehaven for Newborns and SAFESPACE a Domestic Violence Center.
We also support the different projects from the Florida General Federation like Camp Boggy Creek, Heifer International, Canine Companions for Independence, Special Olympics, Sew Much for Comfort.
Our goal is to work together in the spirit of friendship and service to better the quality of life in our community.

Who We Are
GFWC Coco Plum Woman's Club, Inc. is in District 11 of the GFWC Florida General Federation of Women's Clubs (GFWC Florida) and the General Federation of Women's Clubs (GFWC), which is one of the largest and oldest women's volunteer organizations in the world.
We belong to the GFWC Southern Region which includes the following states: Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Mississippi, South Carolina, Puerto Rico. Woman's Club of Aruba and GFWC Woman's Club Belmopan In Belize.
